Our solid core side glow fiber optic has two types: solid core side glow fiber and solid core side glow cable. It is a single large diameter filament which can transmit light over reasonably long distances. Light is transmitted over the entire length of the solid core optic, without electricity or heat. By sheathing with transparent PVC cover, the fiber can be well protected and UV protection function is available.

Solid Core side glow fiber optic Filament Characteristics:

1. Safe, transmit light only, no conductivity or heat transferring;

2. Being able to transmit visible light but not ultraviolet or infrared;

3. Unique loose jacket adopted in the lighting series , easy to peel off,install and maintenance;

4. Good flexibility,stable performance, anti-aging, long life span;

5. Longer transmission distance, up to 30meters;

6. Operating temperature: -20 ~ +70℃

7. Allowable bending radius：≥ ten times of the fiber diameter;
